Job Description

Bed & Biscuit are a small boarding kennels, cattery and grooming parlour who are looking to take on an apprentice to work alongside the team and help maintain the standards that Bed & Biscuit hold. As the apprentice, you will assist with the general running of the business and help maintain the kennels and garden area.

They are looking for an apprentice who can work outdoors in all-weather who has empathy with animals, good interpersonal skills, a calm disposition and can work as a member of a small friendly team.
Your duties will include:
Walking the dogs
Feeding
General maintenance of the kennels and garden area
Assist with the day to day running of the business

Future prospects
The potential for a permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship
Things to consider
Own transport or walking distance is desirable due to weather conditions throughout the year that may cause difficulty to get to the premises

Training provider
Level 2 Work-Based Diploma in Animal Care
ERR(Employee Rights & Responsibilities)
Functional Skills in English and Maths if needed
