Job Description

The Palfreymans Ltd based in Escrick, York is looking to recruit an apprentice to take on this practical role. Applicants must have a keen interest and passion for Horticulture.

This is very much a practical role and your duties will include:
Carrying out grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, strimming, planting, pruning and weed killing.
Assisting on landscaping projects and ensure all maintenance is carried out on a regular basis.
Able to complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in on time.
You will act as a representative for the company at all times and must ensure the customer is completely satisfied.
You must comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements and willing to undertake any other duties required by Management within the job holders competence
Future prospects
There is potential for a permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider
A large amount of travel is involved and the employer would prefer someone based around the Escrick area.
