Job Description

Purpose of Role:To assist in the provision of the kindest care working as part of a team to achieve required standards. To ensure Residents retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Care Home / Unit. Getting to know residents and their interests and needs. Helping with personal careincluding washing, using the toilet and dressing. Food preparation, feeding and laundry.

Observing, monitoring and recording residents conditions.Communicationwith residents, relatives and colleagues.

As a Carer you must have...

A friendly approach and the ability to put residents at ease, whatever their physical or social needs may be
The ability to be tactful and sensitive at all times
A good sense of humour
Respect for the residents and their families
A high level of patience
