Support Worker Wanted!

Our belief is, to deliver great care, you employ great people! Our ideal candidate will be a flexible and passionate Support Worker looking for a career in the social care industry. Previous support worker experience is preferable but not always required as full training will be provided.

Essential
• A positive attitude and passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities
• Can demonstrate a practical understanding of delivering personal care with dignity and privacy
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Can work independently and demonstrate good judgement
• An effective team Player
• Can work a variety of shifts across a 7 day rota including nights if required
• Can do sleep ins as required

Being a Support Worker involves:
• Enabling service users to access the community
• Supporting them with daily living skills like cleaning, cooking and laundry
• Supporting them with daily personal care tasks like bathing and dressing
• Enabling then to make healthy meal choices
• Supporting them to take their prescribed medication
• Supporting them to live safely in their own home
• Promoting independence and positive wellbeing
• Safeguarding service users rights and dignity
• Implementing their person-centered care plans
