Job Description
Fielding enquires from drivers and providing assistance to them when on the road
Ensuring truck documents are up to date
Arranging toll boxes and fitting them to the vehicle where required
Applying for permits and passes
Organise Road Fund Licence payments and monitor expiry
Monitor 6 weekly PMI
Be confident to deliver a CPC course in the absence of the Driver Training and Development Manager (Training Provided)
Be confident analysing tachographs and giving driver de-briefs in the absence of the Legal Compliance Manager (Training Provided)
Willing to undertake any other task as required
Key Skills :
The ideal candidate will be excellent at managing their time effectively being able to prioritise tasks as they arise. Equally comfortable working in a busy transport yard around HGVs, and in an office based environment ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork and filing. Must be confident dealing with people both face to face and on the telephone. Willing to grow and develop as the role grows, full training will be provided.
