Import and Export Specialist Temp to Perm £20K - £26K (depending on experience) B36 Area

Working for one of our prestigious clients in the Midlands Area. Our client seeks an experienced Import/Export Specialist to support the business.

This is a great opportunity to join a large Manufacturing Business in the Midlands. The role is a new role and the client is looking for the right candidate to steer and support its Import/Export (materials)business.

Job Specification:

Monitor shipments and provide audit trails with detailed milestones
Complete functions as instructed by suppliers/customers and management
Cover aspects of filing/locating files per department needs
Provide world class customer service and follow our company service standards and communications guidelines to maximize customer/supplier satisfaction.
Customs post entry procedures
Transport documentation for Import and Export.
Account Handling
Complete customs entries
Experience and Skills:

Knowledge and Experience in both Imports and Exports (2 years)
Experience of working within Export and Import (non EU Countries)
Ability to work on own at times and show initiative
Ability to ‘think on their feet’ while working under pressure
Ability to learn quickly and be able to understand the bigger picture
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Excellent and confident telephone manner
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to be flexible on hours is essential to this role as it evolves
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Industry Recognised Certification (if possible)

Level 1 - 7

Must have 2 years Import and Export Experience.
