Hadleigh Castings Ltd is a manufacturer of Aerospace / Defence / Automotive, Rail, Commercial and industrial Aluminium castings. We are looking for Foundry staff to join our production team based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. The successful applicant will have experience of working in a production environment and be able to understand and follow process documentation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In the Foundry you would be casting a wide range of Aluminium products for Aerospace / Defence & commercial castings. Jobs include Moulding, Tucking, Pouring, Labouring, Core Making.
In the Fettling Department you would be Fettling /Linishing parts to a high standard finish. Including but not limited to Fine Fettling, Blasting, Welding, Straightening, Linishing, Grinding.

Hours - 6am - 2.03pm Monday to Friday
Late Shift 2pm - 10.03pm Monday to Friday inclusive (shift premium payable)

Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills A strong team player who can put forward ideas as well as listening objectively to others’ Hard working and diligent in all tasks undertaken Reliable, with a good attitude towards attendance and timekeeping Good hand eye co-ordination Observant, with a good eye for details towards quality and health and safety practices You will be expected to work on your own or as part of a team and be mindful of health and safety aspects of the business and the environment at all times. ADVANTAGEOUS Any previous Fettling, woodworking or general use of hand tools, grinders, linishers etc Knowledge and understanding of general engineering processes Understanding of safety in the workplace Knowledge of foundry industry would be an advantage.
