Extrusion operator

Job Description

We URGENTLY require an experienced Polypropylene extrusion line operator who is confident and has the ability to operate and set our extrusion line.

Main Purpose - To ensure that the extrusion line is running smoothly, that quality is adhered to at all times with tolerances and that stock levels are continually topped up.

Duties and responsibilities -
The smooth running of the extrusion line.
General maintenance of the extrusion line.
Quality control of all plastic produced.
Tolerances continually checked.
Stock takes and reporting stock levels to the Production Manager.
Regrinding of waste material.
Drilling of tubes and jump stands.
Bossing of Jump Stands.
Top capping Jump stands.
General Housekeeping to a high standard.
Other secondary duties required.
Forklift duties (counterbalance) preferred.
Help to cover holiday''s and absence in other departments when necessary.
