Quality Engineer

Job Description

Represent the company in relation to quality assurance in front of customers/suppliers.
Manage supplier development
Carry out customer and supplier visits
Investigation and subsequent close out of all customer and supplier concerns
Quality aspects associated with NPI introduction, sampling, measurement and testing.
Preparation and implementation of relevant PPAP/APQP documentation/activities, as and when required.
Support Manufacturing facility with reference to quality driven activities.
Create, and release relevant quality documentation and ensuring it is communicated to all relevant parties.
Producing and signing off customer C of C.
Carry out goods inwards/goods outwards checking as directed.
Able to carry out measurement system activity and analyse results when required.
Able to carry out internal process and product audits (1st party audit).
Carry out supplier audit (2nd party) when required.
Company support during 3rd party audit.
Able to carry out internal Environmental audit activity as directed.
Carry out operator training in relation to quality aspects as directed.
Able to conduct/lead lessons learnt activity.
able to support process and product change requirements.
Supporting the administration of APQP and QMS
To ensure continued compliance to ISO9001/IATF16949 and ISO14001.
Supporting customer onsite audits.
