Production Operative

Job Description

Rotating shift pattern (days) - 6am- 5:30pm

Working as part of the Production Team undertaking the following roles:
•Follow the company Health & Safety guidelines.
•Work with the Shift Manager and other operatives to ensure that orders are packed into outer cases for various customers correctly and completed in time for planned despatch
•Pack to machine
•Denester
•Bedend (packing)
•Print (rationals/checks)
•Line (pulling away,)
•Programmer / Checker
•Melange
•Conduct any necessary training required for the role. The jobholder should be open to working in different areas of the warehouse department as required
•Identify areas of inefficiency and waste, and suggest improvements to the line manager/team leader
•Be mindful of product quality, integrity and traceability. Ensure work is completed to a high-standard, and all necessary documentation is completed. Report any concerns to the relevant line manager.
