HR Employment Bureau Limited are working with our client who are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector on an ongoing basis. You must be able to work from/read Engineering drawings, have previous experience working with measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers and be familiar with CMM Machines. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established business

THE ROLE:
Managing workload of the department and achieving set targets
Training and advising operators in specific quality techniques
Troubleshooting by inspection on a daily basis.

Participation in continuous improvement programs

Advising production on best practice measurement techniques

Ensuring the department maintains discipline and health and safety at the required levels

THE CANDIDATE:

Essential

" Flexibility and ability to work effectively within a small team
" Ability to work without supervision
" Ability to communicate professionally (excellent listening skills, verbal, written, telephone etc) at all levels, internally and externally
" Capablity of understanding specifications and drawings
" Understanding of subcontract treatments
" CNC CMM capability
" Attention to detail is essential
" Good understanding of all measuring equipment within the department (ie micrometers, verniers, height gauges and screw measuring equipment
" Good time management skills
" Good problem solving skills
" Customer focused
