Ardley IVC Level 2 Operator
Agrivert Group Ltd is recruiting for a Site Operative to join the well-established team at our Ardley In-Vessel Composting Site. Reporting to the Site Supervisor and Site Manager this role is a ‘hands-on’ role requiring the daily operation of composting technology, plant and machinery within the In-Vessel Composting (IVC) Site.


Main Responsibilities
• Compliance with the Environment Permit (site license), ABPR, PAS 100, BMS and the Health, Safety and welfare of all people on site
• Operating site machinery and equipment as required
• Reduce plastics and litter on site to assist with future business.
• General Maintenance and mechanics of plant and equipment ensuring the site is presented in a clean & tidy manner at all times
• Ensuring the plant operates efficiently and effectively, meeting all throughput requirements
• Keeping required records in respect of all compliance, operations, maintenance and procedures

Core Skills
• Loading Shovel certificate is desirable however not essential
• Knowledge of composting processes
• An understanding of environmental protection
• Knowledge of working safely
• Worked within a Management System
• Shredder/Screen experience
• 1st Aid an advantage
• Fire safety training an advantage
• Operation of mobile elevating work platforms – including mobile boom and mobile vertical
• Abrasive wheels training – an advantage
• Knowledge of working at a height and ladder safety
• Skidsteer loader training an advantage.
• Computer literate
• Mechanical aptitude

Benefits

Salary : up to £26,000 depending on Experience
Annual Bonus up to £1,000
Hours 50 Per week
07.00 – 17.00 Mon – Friday Occasional Weekends and evenings during High Season
25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
