Financial Controller

The Place

Xpress are delighted to be working for a Scottish based Hotel, bar and Restaurant operator that owing to back office investment and restructuring and now looking to appoint in a newly created position a Cluster Financial Controller based Edinburgh city centre.

The Job

As Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing the financial control, reporting and management information. Working closely with the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing the department ensuring compliance with statutory and company accounting and control procedures. You will oversee the management accounts for both sites, diarise P&L reports, manage costs & audits. The financial controller will have a commercial business brain with an analytical approach to your work.

The Person

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in finance in a similar sized property. The ideal Financial Controller will have excellent communication skills, be a team player and enjoy a hand''s on role. Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial as well as experience.

The Rewards

A competitive salary £30,000 - £40,000 plus company benefits and fantastic development opportunity will be rewarded to the successful candidate.
