Location: Corsham (near Bath)

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000

The Opportunity

Verco is an award-winning employee owned energy consultancy. We work with Governments designing energy efficiency policy and work with industry leaders on their pressing energy and resource management challenges. We provide a wide range of reporting, compliance and energy management services using a range of data and analytics software, in conjunction with an experienced consultancy team

You will be joining an industry leading team, with a long track record in the sector, and will work with a selection of the world''s top companies to help them meet their environmental reporting requirements. You will be given a high level of autonomy, working with our Consultants, Engineers and Software team.

Responsibilities

This role supports the delivery of reporting and compliance based services, working with some of the UK''s leading sustainability teams. The primary role will be working with our consultancy providing data input and analysis support to projects to ensure the diverse needs of our clients are always met.

1. Project Management: to deliver the required project inputs according to time, quality and budget requirements, ensuring progress is accurately communicated to stakeholders.

2. Technical input: to become an expert user of a range of data and analytics tools/software i.e. Power BI, Envizi etc. (training will be given), providing support to the consultancy team in the set up and configuration of project tools to match the client''s needs. In time, be able to provide basic training to other team members.

3. Data handling and processing: Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats.

4. Product development: Actively participate in our culture of continuous development and innovation by contributing ideas for new feature and functionality to our development team

5. Operational: Participate in the quality system and effectively apply the company''s procedures, policies and practices

Successful candidates will have a degree of autonomy in their role to suggest and lead on new ideas; Verco will actively support development.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and creatively on challenging problems. You will need to have a good analytical approach, and ideally have experience of working with large data sets.

You will have A Levels or equivalent, and it is desirable that at least one of these will be in a science, engineering, computer studies or mathematics based subject.
