Assembler

We are looking for a skilled Assembler to start ASAP for a manufacturing firm based in Great Dunmow, Essex.

There are several different sectors within the company''s manufacturing teams. Because of this, any successful applicants will be placed in a production section best suited to their skill set. However, to be considered for this role previous assembly / manufacturing experience is essential.

Assembler duties include:

Follow written work order / instruction
Follow technical drawings
Measuring to length, cutting and stripping cable
Operating various hand & power tools to assemble electro-mechanical components
Working with moulds
Sand blasting components
Sanding & polishing
Observe high level of cleanliness
Following health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and must be happy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Anyone who has worked within manufacturing in an assembly-based or similar role would be of interest. You will need to have previous experience working with various hand & power tools.

38 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 15:45.

Competitive hourly rate depending on the candidate''s skill level.

Transport required.

This is a permanent, full time position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
