Managing Consultant - Infrastructure - Client based

Working in a dual role between being seconded in to Client organisations for periods of time and delivering a set programme of works. Focused in the Infrastructure sector covering Rail, Water, Highways and Airports on white collar positions

Salary: £35,000 basic - £40,000 basic + Commission + Mobile Phone & Laptop + Expenses + Package

Location: Derby based but flexible around our clients requirements / meetings and travel

Role:

This position is to help support the growth we have with in this sector, already working for a number of top 20 main contractors and clients we are looking for someone to focus on this growth. You need to be working with in the infrastructure sector as your experience and knowledge will be key when both winning work and delivering programmes against our clients requirements.

We are flexible around our clients with some programmes requiring you being based on site for a number of days each week, other can be delivered from the main office with progress meetings with the client. Due to this factor you need to be flexible to stay away from home if required not on a full time basis for periods of time be it 3 days or 3 months. This is not a recruitment consultant position as you will be involved with winning and delivering packages of works based around Senior appointments, Framework mobilisations, volume recruitment on project wins. With the same take this is not an internal recruitment position, you need to be able to deliver what your clients set out but also able to spot the opportunity for more work and how to position yourself in to retaining more assignments.

Although coming from the recruitment sector we do not operate as an agency with our relationships developing in to managing consultancy, providing more than just people. As a smaller consultancy we can be more agile and commercially flexible than our competitors going that extra mile to deliver the best service possible. The main focus we look for is knowledge of your sector if you cant give details of what''s happening in your sector, who the main companies are, who''s winning the work, a network of individuals / contacts you have worked with then you wont be right for this position. Our reputation is very important priding ourselves on knowledge and relationships across the sectors we work in and we expect the same from our Managing Consultants.

We don''t work against KPI''s, there is no point making 40 / 50 calls a day if there not of value, Making 10 to 20 calls to people that will take you call and having a meaningful conversation is far more valuable to us as an organisation. We cant account for what our clients need so but we are a flexible business, if you need to be on conference calls at 8am or 8pm having that commitment is important but also rewarding that with flexible working is just important. The is a team behind you to deliver on the opportunities you bring to the business but this role can quickly grow and develop for the right person.

Skills and experience required:

Working in the Infrastructure sector - Client focused
Knowledge and relationships in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Water, Highways, Airports)
Stakeholder engaugement as you will be the lead on a clients site and as such representing The Resolute Group at all times.
