Private Sector Housing Officer / Contract / North West / Rates Negotiable Based on Experience

A local authority based in the North West who are looking for a vibrant and energetic Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis

Hours: 37 hours

Rates: Negotiable based on exp

Contract: 6 Months

Requirements:

Housing disrepair complaints - HHSRS inspections, preparation of schedules of works.

Communication and negotiation with owners, tenants, agents and social landlords.

Enforcement including legal notices, PACE interviewing, production of prosecution files and attendance at court for cases and applications for warrants of entry.

Investigation and intelligence gathering for both in-house and partner organisations.

HMO licensing and inspection.

Investigation and resolution of Statutory Nuisance complaints.

Drainage investigation and resolution.

Arrangement, scheduling and supervision of works in default.

Immigration inspections.

Landlord accreditation.

Participation in multi-agency enforcement operations.
