Job Description

Ashley Kate are pleased to partnering with a leading service client in Berkshire. They have an opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join their team to lead a team of HR professionals.
As HR Manager you will take ownership of all HR matters across the organisation from recruitment to performance reviews, pay and benefits, employee relations, policy development, fitness and health and HR data management.You will help the Service continue to shape their culture and develop a workplace that is highly efficient and engaged. To perform well in this role, you should have experience of providing HR strategy, an excellent knowledge around employee relations and a current understanding of employment law.

HR Manager - the role
You will be the go-to person for all HR related topics acting as a trusted adviser and strategic HR partner to both line management and their HR team
Provide a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers
Guide and advise managers and employees on employee-related issues, including manager/employee issues, policies & procedures and health and well-being.
Advise and support line management on pay and benefits, examining ways to enhance their reward and recognition opportunities
Work with their external providers for Occupational Health, payroll and pensions, managing budget spend and contracts as necessary.
Champion diversity and inclusion within the organisation
Manage the HR aspects of the bespoke employee database ensuring accuracy of data and workforce planning figures, reconciling with finance to ensure organisational staffing budgets are managed appropriately.

HR Manager - About you
Must be a "doer" and have a bias for action. This is a combination of a strategic and tactical position. You must be able to execute to their plan, meet deadlines and make a positive impact.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve with strong influencing skills
An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion is crucial
A Level 5 or 7 CIPD qualification and be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (ideally MCIPD)
