Electrician

We are looking for an electrician to maintain focus to both internal and external customers ,providing practical / workable technical solutions.

Experience Required:

• Time served electrician.

• Oil & Gas installation experience.

• CompEx certified. Units EX01 R-EX02 R-EX03 R-EX04 R.

Key Electrician Responsibilities:

· Carry out installation work ( Experienced in the use of Braided, Barrier and Stuffing Glands )

· Be able to interpret and understand electrical drawings and schematics

· Carry out "returned cabin" electrical and instrumentation inspection and compile reports.

· Have a thorough understanding of hazardous area- Ex equipment.

· Testing, including preparation and actual function testing, witnessed by independent inspectors. (DNV/Lloyds )

· In-house -fault finding and rectification. (existing stock and new builds)

· Pass knowledge learned onto electrical apprentice/s.

· Actively promote and encourage the principles of process Improvement.

· Maintain records ( Ex equipment register- ATEX equipment inspection register and FAT reporting )

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

* Complying with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System

* Adhering to procedures and or processes to support the system and its applications within your area of responsibility and recommending any improvements as appropriate.

* Complying with Regulatory requirements and Company Policies

* Responsible for own personal safety.

* Ensure that both you and your colleagues work in a safe environment including the use of PPE as provided.

* Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner which will enhance the companies standing with regard to its commitment to the environment.
