Accountant

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join their integrated organisation. The successful candidate will be a driven individual who embraces challenges. They will also play an integral part within the existing team to deliver the best possible service. As the Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparing incorporated and unincorporated accounts using Iris software
• Preparing corporation tax computations using Iris software
• Undertaking and leading audit assignments up to partner review stage
• Audit preparation
• Training of junior staff
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Liaising directly with clients
• Building a strong rapport with clients
• Completing assignments within agreed time budget

The successful candidate for the role of Accountant will have:

• ACCA/ACA Qualified or part qualified (ACCA study support will be provided where required)
• A a minimum of 2 to 4 years'' experience in a similar role
• Strong technical competence
• Previously used accountancy software such as Sage and Iris
• A UK Driving license and access to a car

In return the Accountant will receive a basic salary of £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm.
