MEP BIM / Revit Lead manager

An outstanding opportunity exists for a BIM / Revit MEP Manager to head up the team in Newcastle.

As MEP BIM Manager you will have a quality opportunity to forge a great career and have a good degree of responsibility, including Implementation and BIM Design lead.

You will be responsible for the implementation of Revit MEP and BIM standards throughout our Mechanical and Electrical building services discipline. You will develop Revit MEP / BIM standards and procedures for implementation and monitoring of systems, software, hardware and training for MEP Building Services. You will project manage the running of BIM models and, in conjunction with the Project Directors. You will act as a project interface as someone who knows a full overview of all disciplines working on the BIM/project.

Your Role

You will be a critical leader in driving the Revit MEP /BIM capability, managing existing Revit MEP/BIM software products, support the Revit MEP/BIM technology needs of all MEP Building Services Teams and subsequently, install and assist with new BIM related software and technologies.

You will develop and assist in the integration of Revit MEP/BIM standards, as well as enforce Revit MEP/BIM documentation and workflow process standards. You will be heavily involved in the company''s BIM Focus Group and will create written technology evaluations and budgets for future technology adoption that aligns with the corporate goals.

About you

Experience within the building design environment

Detailed understanding and thorough business knowledge of the Building Services Engineering field.

In-depth working knowledge of current Revit and BIM applications

Technically, you will be highly experienced in Revit MEP and BIM capability in a recognised Industry Standard Format, including 3D graphics and presentation relevant basic software

Possess an established track record of maintaining excellent relationships with clients and other designers
