Editor. Tunbridge Wells. Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience

My client is an established and highly successful, B2B publishing company with a range of magazine titles. They are looking to secure the services of a talented editor with the ability to work across a diverse range of publications.

This role will report to the Publisher and your main roles will include:

Taking responsibility, as directed, for the editorial quality and content of the Step Communication''s publications and websites.
Meeting pre-determined copy deadlines and ensuring that all editorial material is produced to a high standard and that the required information is supplied to the printer at the agreed time.
Assisting in the continuing development of the magazines and the associated websites to serve the business needs of the readerships that they influence.
Writing, sub-editing and commissioning articles.
Liaising with contributors and working to a contributor budget
Attending and reporting on events, exhibitions, press launches and seminars when relevant and appropriate.
Conducting interviews face to face and by telephone.
