The Learning Support Assistant Person Specification
This role requires a delicate combination of a having a strong academic background and also having the strong-willed personality required to forge an instant, effective relationship with a student who is struggling academically and socially within the school. A resolute teaching assistant fits the bill here; someone who has prior school-based experience, and who can also call on their superb communication skills to be able to effectively manage this student through their day, adding value to their education.

The Learning Support Assistant Role
As a Learning Support Assistant in this lovely Primary School in Hillingdon, you will be supporting the teaching and learning of a Reception Class child who can present real difficulties in mainstream classes. The child in question really needs a strong character to help them digest the work and also to help them reintegrate socially within the class, minimising any further learning disruption. Liaise with the class teacher to formulate plans of action each day, and gain all the rewards of turning a child''s life around as you look to motivate and focus them on to a better path.
