Job Title: M&E Asset Surveyor

Location: Midlands / North West (Home Based)

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Contract: 6 months FTC

Shift Times: 08.00 to 17.00

Working days: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic M&E Asset Surveyor in Midlands / North West to join our passionate and driven Technical Services team on a permanent basis!

The M&E Asset Surveyor will inspect the plant and equipment on customer sites, and gather all necessary information to create pricing schedules for maintenance, asset register for management through the nominated CAFM, and best-in-class condition and lifecycle reporting.

This role will support the Asset & Compliance Manager in activities relating to asset survey, commercial asset verification, condition reporting and lifecycle reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Gather asset information in line with the Atalian Servest Technical Services Asset Information Requirements (AIR), or in line with a bespoke customer requirement
Make an assessment on the condition and lifecycle of all mechanical and electrical plant, applying recognised surveying and building services standards wherever possible
Liaise with specialist suppliers and contractors to make a detailed assessment of plant lifecycle
Assess maintenance history regarding adherence with regulatory requirements, codes of practice and industry standards.
Support the business development team in the effective and accurate pricing of maintenance contracts, through the provision of high-integrity data. Mitigate potential commercial risks through thorough site investigation
Manage the data captured and findings and compile into technical and non-technical reports; combine a holistic approach with the technical methodology for reporting
Liaise with client representatives and present findings
Assist in the development of IT platforms and methodologies used to further enhance the product/service offering to customers.
Provision of site data sets and asset registers in line with company standard
The capture of the accurate and effective condition and lifecycle information in line with the recognised company, customer or industry standards as required

What we are looking for from you:

5+ years working within building services/facilities management
Candidates will ideally be either academically or professionally qualified within an Engineering discipline.
Understanding of Microsoft Office software packages
Experience in operating mobile platforms and applications for data capture or updates
High attention to detail and methodical in approach
Pride in the integrity of any data or report produced as part of these exercises
Enthusiastic about the delivery of asset survey programmes and advancing the capabilities of the business in this regard
Strong customer focus and sensitivity
