Architectural Technician (Residential Developer)

Conrad Consulting are working alongside a leading specialist within the housing and property development sector to recruit a Architectural Technician to join their Manchester team.

This company have been established for 30 years and has experienced significant year-on-year growth; leading to their current status as one of Manchesters and the UK''s most reputable development groups. Owing to recent success they are continually busy and therefore in need of additional support within their Architectural and Technical teams. This particular role would be best suited to a Senior Architectural Technician with previous experience of working on Medium-Large scale projects, predominantly within the Residential sector.

We would hope for applicants to meet the following criteria:

* Degree or equivalent Architectural qualification. (CIAT or RIBA membership preferable).
* Proficiency using both AutoCAD & REVIT.
*Minimum 3 years practical experience in a similar role.
* Experience working in a similar role within the Residential sector (High rise, Urban Design, Private dwellings, large-scale regenerations).
* Effective communication skills.
* Be able to present ideas coherently.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

* Liaising, co-ordinating with other departments regarding development works including Engineers, Surveyors, Buyers and the Construction team.
* Assisting in the preparation of tender documents.
* Attendance at design coordination meetings and preparation of minutes for the meeting.
* Contract administration.
* General project co-ordination.
* Attendance at construction / site meetings
* Provision of AutoCAD format drawings to assist in the preparation of brochure information and sales literature.

Salary: £32,000-£40,000.
