Elevation Recruitment Group are really excited to be working in partnership with a growing organisation based in the Barnsley area as they look to expand their busy FP&A team!
The successful candidate will be joining the business as a progressive Finance & Systems Analyst where you will have exposure to a wide variety of projects across all areas of the business and become a key player in providing analytical insight to inform business strategy and decisions. The role will have a large slant on finance and so is perfect for someone with analytical mind, but who also has a genuine interest in accountancy & finance.
Reporting into the Head of FP&A; the successful candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Excel (and familiar with SQL/Power Bi) and will take on the responsibility of providing high quality and timely business information to support the continued performance improvement and strategic decision-making. You will be expected to confidently liaise with people across the business at varying levels (including senior management) to relay financial data and information. You will also assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as additional accounting duties and be comfortable working in a changing, fast-paced and a "think on your feet" type of environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Production, delivery, and improvement of existing reports
· Analysis of existing data sets & work flows, from multiple distributed sources
· Developing procedures for Data Warehouse purposes
· Managing data quality and cleansing activities, to address data anomalies and ensure robust reporting data
· Acting as a bridge between Finance & IT departments and liaising with the wider business in relation to data and driving results
· Collaborating with Financial Systems colleagues overseas to improve systems, processes, reporting etc.

· Standardising & streamlining existing MS Excel models and reports
· Performing data integration for Data Warehouse and Multi-Dimensional applications
Skills Required:
*Advanced knowledge of Excel and manipulating data (including SQL)
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong commercial acumen
*Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
*Strong numerical skills & attention to detail
