Job Description

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer on behalf of Knowsley Council.

Essential criteria:
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of public procurement regulations and relevant legislation.
- Candidates must be CIPS Qualified.
- Experience working in a public sector procurement environment.
- Candidates should have commercial awareness and knowledge of procurement best practice.
- The ideal candidate should be motivated and a self starter who can come in and hit the ground running.
- Must be able to provide evidence of Procurement best practice used as part of previous role.

Working hours: full time Monday - Friday
Contract length: initially 6 months
Location: working from home
Qualification: CIPS Qualification
