ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT FOR BIODIVERSITY REQUIRED TO ADVISE KEY CLIENTS AND DEVELOP EXISTING AND NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES TO DRIVE THE COMPANY FORWARD
Role: Senior Environmental Consultant for Biodiversity - Environmental Management
Package: £33-50k DOE plus pension, healthcare and other benefits
Location: People from the following areas will be considered: You will need to be in commutable distance to one of the regional offices near London, Bath or Salford.
Client: An international business that offers development and progression for solid performers
You may have had experience with: You may have had experience with Waste Consultancy, Environmental Permitting, Biodiversity, Water catchment, Green spaces, agricultural economics, environmental or resource economics.
Duties and Experience
As a Consultant for Biodiversity, you will use your experience to provide environmental advice and apply tools to solve a wide range of problems to their large more high-profile customers.
Previous experience as an Environmental Consultant is essential
As a Consultant for Biodiversity, you will be involved in business development of both new and existing business.
You will be involved in the tendering for new business and delivery of business cases. Previous experience in this is highly desirable.
Experience of leading projects in two or more of the following areas: natural capital, biodiversity, green space strategy, agricultural economics, environmental or resource economics; and a track record of delivering to time, budget and client satisfaction.
A Degree from Environmental or Scientific background essential
Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Geotechnical, Geology or Civil Engineering Degree
You will be or be working towards chartered status with a body associated in your specialism e.g., CIWM (Chartered Institute of Waste Management), MICE Members of the Institute of Civil Engineers, CGeol Chartered Geologist
Ideally you will have at least 5 years'' experience in a consultancy with 10 years for the Principal role
