The title Development Manager means different things in every business. This role is covering every aspect of the process from concept to launch and will have projects to manage along the way.

The management part of the title is the management of a customer rather than a team allowing you to immerse yourself in the product category and the customer.

Working alongside and partnering that retailer - growing, developing and nurturing the account ensuring there is innovation pipeline and that the customer has a point of difference is a key aspect to this role. There will be some unique and interesting projects to manage.

What background are we looking for?

Significant product development background in the food industry.
Concept to launch experience and detailed knowledge of how to meet deadlines, overcome obstacles and display your lateral thinking skills to resolve issues.
A real love of food and the industry.
Understanding the relationship between manufacturer and retailer and the Development Manager role within that.
A confident individual able to engage with multiple internal contacts and Group stakeholders.
Someone with fire in their belly - this job really needs someone to make it their own and put their heart and soul into it.
