Job Description
Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well respected, regional law firm. You will be joining the highly regarded property team based in the Sheffield office and duties will include;
* Providing assistance to Conveyancing Fee Earners with the progression of sales, purchase, transfer of equity and remortgage files
* Screening and responding to client queries
* Providing advice to clients in relation to conveyancing processes and the progress of their file
* Diary management
* Drafting and producing conveyancing and legal documents
* Applying for searches
* Submitting interim and final bills
* Drafting bills
* Preparing completion statements
* Processing SDLT returns
* Preparing files for Land Registry applications
* Handling Land Registry requisitions
* Handling post completion duties
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience gained within a similar role and have a good working knowledge of the full conveyancing process. Our client prides itself on the high standards of client care provided so you should have excellent communication skills in order to uphold these standards.
