DAYS BASED ROLE

Extrusion Machine Setter/Operator required for a well established manufacturer who are continuing to thrive through the current pandemic. They specialise in a wide range of plastic products for a number of different industries. This is a great opportunity for applicants who will benefit from a long weekend and overtime opportunities to boost potential earnings.

The role would suit extrusion machine setters/operators, ideally with plastic extrusion experience. Applicants will ideally have experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience using measuring tools such as verniers and calipers will have a considerable advantage.

The role will involve starting up, setting and operating extrusion machines. You will work to bespoke customer specification to manufacture a wide range of products. You will work with a range of plastic raw materials, calibrate machines to be fit for purpose and quality check products to specification. You will work to H&S initiatives at all times. As part of your role, you will be tasked with reduced waste/scrap and increasing efficiencies where possible.

The Role:
*Start up, setting, operating and shut down of extrusion machines
*Working to bespoke customer specification
*Contribute to process improvements including product quality and reduction of waste/scrap
*Work to H&S initiatives
*Monday to Thursday. 12 Hour Shifts. 06:00 to 18:00

The Person:
*Will ideally be an experienced Extrusion Setter and Operator
*Applicants with profiling experience will have a considerable advantage
*Will ideally have experience within a fast paced environment
