GENERAL MANAGER / OPERATIONS MANAGER

JS Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading service provider which specialise in the delivery of electrical and mechanical engineering services to both the public and private sectors.

This progressive business employ approximately 70 members of staff and boasts an impressive portfolio of customers along with a strong national presence.

As part of their succession planning, they now require a General Manager / Operations Manager with a proven background in managing operational maintenance teams to lead performance excellence and drive growth across the organisation. The successful candidate will be regarded as a key member of the leadership team, reporting into the Operations Director and overseeing the day to day running of the business including the direct line management of 8 Regional Service Managers.

On offer is a competitive remuneration package including basic salary of up to £60,000 plus car allowance.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Proven experience as a General Manager / Operations Manager leading operational maintenance teams
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Results driven with a focus on continuous improvement
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Ability to influence at all levels
Flexible and able to visit other regions as required
Full UK driving licence
