Cover Supervisors Needed in Burton on Trent

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors for our busy secondary schools in the Burton area for the resumption of this academic year - which is expected to be in March.

The role involves supervising classes of around 25/30 students while they undertake work that has been previously set for them by an absent teacher. Good Cover Supervisors help the children where possible and ensure that they are working well and behaving appropriately.

The work is on a day to day and generally part time basis, although full time roles are also available for suitable candidates.

This is a great opportunity to work in schools and gain experience of working in a classroom. It is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is considering a future career in teaching and is looking to gain experience working with children, and is even a great opportunity to keep in work if you are a semi-retired teacher looking for a reduced workload!

Required by the successful Cover Supervisor are:

* Previous experience working with children aged 11-16. This can be in a school setting or outside of education, such as sports coaching or youth work.

* A desire to make a difference to students and their education
