RESTAURANT & BAR MANAGER - WELL ESTABLISHED HOLIDAY PARK COMPANY - FANTASTIC HAMPSHIRE LOCATION - CIRCA £30,000 + BENEFITS
An opportunity has arisen to join a well-respected and growing Holiday Park company at one of their flagship venues based in Hampshire.
Set in a rural location, yet commutable to both seaside and cities, this is a great place to work and engage with holiday makers from all over, using the site to either relax or explore the local area. The park has a full range of facilities, including leisure, spa, swimming pool, cycling, entertainment and a full range of retail and Food & Beverage facilities.
The role of Restaurant & Bars Manager is to oversee the on-site restaurant and bars, consisting of a 130-cover restaurant, sports bar, and entertainment bar. You will:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the Restaurant & Bars, ensuring the smooth running of the business
* Take commercial decisions to drive and improve the performance of the venue
* Form part of the on-site senior management team
* Manage a team of approximately 25 team members
* Market the venues to the park visitors, promoting use of the facilities
* Deal with staffing requirements, train and develop team members, with a focus on multi-skilling the team across the F&B operations
* Complete the required stock takes, ensure accurate ordering
We are looking for an experienced restaurant operator, ideally from either a high-street or holiday park environment, will have a track record of managing a large-scale operation and has:
* Excellent relationship building and communication skills
* Experience in high-volume, highly seasonal establishments
* Experience of P&L and budget controls
* Delivered training plans and supported team members
* Has a hands-on, customer facing approach, who can host and be highly visible
