Compound Operative

Main Purpose of Role

Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Compound Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to carry out all vehicle movements within the site correctly and as efficiently as possible.

Key Tasks and Accountability

To carry out all vehicle movements within the site.
To locate and move the correct vehicle to the correct location.
Clean vehicles inside and outside to prepare them for inspection.
To pull the correct vehicles for loads, ready for dispatch.
To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits
To complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies.
To carry out storage and maintenance checks.
To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.Experience Required

Experience with driving manual and automatic vehicles is essential.
Previous experience within automotive industry is desirable
Fully conversant with Health & Safety, relating to the driving role.
Valid Driver''s License with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences.
Ability to work as part of a team, able to use own initiative, be self-motivated and to be able to work unsupervised.Temp to Perm positions
