LCV Technician / Van Mechanic
Location: Morecambe
Week 1: 07:30am - 16:30pm finish -15.30pm on Friday - 39hrs
Week 2: 08:30am - 17:30pm plus Saturday 08:00am -12:00pm - 44hrs
Hourly Rate: £13.00 an hour
Basic : £28,000 - £35,000
Contract: Full Time & Permanent

The LCV Technician / Van Mechanic will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventive maintenance and modification of a fleet and customer vehicles.
As an LCV Technician / Van Mechanic reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures within a team. The successful LCV Technician / Van Mechanic will be invited to join the company training program which incorporates on the job training and a modular training schedule.
LCV Technician / Van Mechanic will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills;
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all LCV vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with legislative requirements.
Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard
Identify possible warranty claims and escalate these to the appropriate persons.
Preventative Maintenance
Ensure your workload is completed to the required standard
LCV Technician / Van Mechanic experience required:
A fully skilled technician, through a recognised formal training program (City & Guilds/NVQ) to Level 3.
Driving license essential
Post qualification workshop experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance is absolutely essential.
