Lawyer – Childcare

Highly regarded firm in Shropshire seeks a skilful Childcare Lawyer on a full-time, permanent basis ASAP!

This is an opportune time for a talented solicitor or legal executive to join our client''s thriving practice based in Telford. The successful applicant will run their own caseload of Legal Aid work relating to the care and protection of children and young people. This role is office based with the potential for remote working.

Responsibilities

Conducting own advocacy as required
Adoption
Care proceedings
Representing parents in care proceedings
Non-accidental injuries
Special guardianship orders
Emergency protection orders
Child arrangements order
Children Act proceedings

The Candidate

Solicitors and legal executives with experience in childcare law
Advocacy experience is highly desirable
Works well as part of a team but equally comfortable working on your own initiative
Possess an empathetic and compassionate approach
