Family lawyer sought within an accredited practice in Shropshire for head of department role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active lawyer to oversee a family department located in Shrewsbury. Combining aspects of management with the running of a varied caseload, this is a challenging but rewarding position. Additionally, the successful lawyer will play a key role in the continued development of the department.

Responsibilities

Divorce and separation
Cohabitation disputes
Children matters
Pre-nuptial agreements
Civil partnership dissolution
Financial matters
Supervising junior members of staff
Participating in business development initiativesThe Candidate

A qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 5 years'' PQE
Technically proficient in private family law
Membership of the Law Society Family Panel or Resolution is advantageous
Strong communication skills both verbally and written
Able to run their own caseload without supervision
Possesses previous management or supervisory experience
Has an aptitude for business developmentThe Firm
