An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Derby/Burton area.
Hose Doctor/Hydraulics Field Service Engineer
£23,000-£30,000 Per Annum + company benefits + Company Vehicle
Reporting to the Divisional Director, and working closely with the existing Hose Doctor Engineers, providing 24 x 7, onsite hose replacement and technical support for a wide customer base.
The ideal candidate will have experience of hose assembly manufacture as well as dealing with a wide range of Plant and machinery. Equally important is a desire to provide outstanding service in the field and thereby increase sales. A full driving licence is essential. The position offers an excellent salary, plus commission / overtime / profit share, and the use of a Company vehicle. Full on the job training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Hose Doctor Job Description
Each Hose Doctor Engineer has a fully equipped van with workshop, hose & fitting stock and tools. A uniform is also provided which must be worn at all times.
Key objectives are:
1. To provide an on site, mobile hose replacement service responding within the hour to referred jobs in DE, NG, LE postcodes. Target is 100% on time.
2. To provide 24hr call out coverage as per rota. Average one week in five on call.
3. To canvas new and prospective customers for business. Engineer is set targets, above which, commission is payable.
4. To assist in the Derby workshop as and when deemed necessary.
5. To ensure van and equipment is maintained in a smart, functional, roadworthy condition and that uniform is worn at all times and kept as clean as practicable.
6. To control and maintain stock of all necessary products in the van. All stock is computer controlled, and any stock losses will be deducted from sales revenue.
7. To complete all necessary paperwork / computer work, job sheets, stock transfers in an accurate, timely manner. Target of ZERO credit notes.
