Project Architect - Existing + New Build Delivery

This practice is renowned for the design + delivery of outstanding residential projects that combine contemporary design with a thorough appreciation of existing heritage, with a portfolio of completed projects throughout London. They have a particular project which has been granted planning and are in need of a proven delivery architect.

The project - An existing building built in the 1950''s in need of a major makeover and modernisation - the successful architect will be delivering modern adaptations as well as a new single storey extension to accommodate an additional 8 residential units to a low-rise, post-war residential block in the heart of London. Additional works include 2 new core lifts, upgrading all existing windows, new balconies and amenity spaces for existing tenants and more.

Revit proficiency and strong communication skills are required, as the successful architect will be hands on in the production and delivery of construction packages for this BIM-based project, whilst working directly with the client, contractor and external teams.

The studio is looking for a project-runner experienced in delivering a range of schemes (ideally in London) including retrofit, refurbishment and modern alterations to existing buildings (UK experience is essential) - with project values in excess of £10M.

Requirements:

5+ years post-qualification (Part III / ARB) experience in a UK practice
Proven Revit proficiency / project experience essential
Experience working on residential projects, notably large-scale extensions and retrofits to existing buildings
Experience with clash detection (working on a live BIM model) with Enscape + BIM 360 highly desired
Design & Build contract experience
NBS Create / Spec Writer experience highly desired
