US Wholesale Reinsurance Broker / Account Manager

Responsibilities

As a Broker/Account Manager responsibilities will include:

·Demonstrate the ability to place XOL, QS and Aggregate structures from start to finish.

·Work closely and maintain working relationships with key US Property and Casualty market contacts.

·Establish and maintain active relationships with our clients and retail offices.

·Provide London market expertise to company overseas offices and ensure needs, issues and requests are resolved satisfactorily.

·Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients'' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients.

·Liaise with clients and build strong relationships.

·Assist in production where needed.

·Compile Reinsurance submissions, market presentations and the additional exhibits to aid broking practice.

·Engage with Reinsurers of all levels and negotiate the best possible terms for our clients.

·Slip and endorsement creation and ongoing client servicing.

·Placing contracts via PPL and inputting into Acrisure system.

·Travel to US reinsurance conferences, lead reinsurer meetings and client visits.

Requirements

To qualify for the role you must demonstrate:

·Minimum of 3 years Reinsurance Broking experience

·Experience in US Property and/or US Casualty Reinsurance.

·Confidence to engage with senior level.

·Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service

·Strong communication and negotiation skills.

·Strong market relationships with US Reinsurance markets.

·Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

·Effective team player with a can do proactive attitude.

·Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

·Possess the ability to build, manage and develop client and market relationships.

·Hold problem-solving and analytical skills.

·ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification ideally
