Mortgage Advisor

Our client is representing a fast growing Mortgage Brokerage in the city of Hull who are looking to add experienced Mortgage Advisers to their team. The key task of the Mortgage Adviser is to convert a constant flow of on-line and introducer referred leads then assess the risk and place fully compliant Mortgage/Re-mortgage applications to the whole of market, independent lending panel.

This role would be suited to someone who is ;

An experienced and competent mortgage advisor who is a self-starter with a desire to write 20+ mortgages per month.
Broker employed mortgage adviser looking to work for an independent whole of market mortgage brokerage and to substantially increase their income.
Mortgage adviser working through an estate agency looking to increase income.
A returning Mortgage adviser
You will be confident in speaking to clients and have a professional face to face and telephone presence. You will be a highly motivated and sales driven individual with an ambition to earn substantial commission.

Responsibilities:

To receive and take applications from numerous business sources including on-line and introducers.

Professionally assess all cases in order to make suitable recommendations in line with current lending criteria and current regulation. To provide brokers and customers with accurate case updates at all points in the process.

To provide a high level of customer service at all stages of an application to ensure that all regulatory requirements are adhered to throughout the process and in all contact with customers, brokers and third parties.

Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 2 years sales experience within the Mortgage Broking or Secured lending or Commercial mortgage market

Experience of dealing with brokers and third parties.

Excellent communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Strong planning and problem solving skills.

Knowledge of recent MCD changes is a must and we will look to all advisors to be either CeMAP qualified or equivalent.

Starting Salary £26000 with OTE £45k +
