We are delighted to be working with a well-established and reputable company in Cirencester to recruit 2X Temporary Planning Administrators.
As a Planning Administrator you will be delivering efficient service wide administration and technical support to professional officers within the service.
Responsibilities include:
* Undertake technical and administrative tasks relating to the processing of applications, notifications and notices from initial registration to determination, including the validation of applications, all in accordance with agreed procedures; in liaison with professional officers
* Process third party responses and consultations received to the service ensuring they are logged against the relevant case reference, acknowledged where appropriate and posted to the website
* Collate and format agenda/officer reports and updates for the schedule of applications to a set deadline for Planning Committee; to include the preparation of Powerpoint presentations
* Process planning and enforcement appeals to include the completion of the appeal questionnaire, preparation of supporting documents, the issue of notifications to all interested parties, publishing details to the website, all in accordance with agreed procedures
The ideal Planning Administrator will have experience working within a planning department, but this is not essential. You must be a strong administrator with good IT and organisational skills.
This is a full time role 37 hours per week and based in the Cirencester office.
