Job Description

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for the role of a Primary PRU Teacher to work in a Pupil Referral Unit setting on Manchester. Knowledge of the Primary curriculum and either experience of, or a desire to work with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs is essential.

The role
As a Primary PRU Teacher it is essential that you can support children with challenging behaviour as you will be working in an environment that believes in nurturing children to achieve their full potential both socially and academically.

The school
The schools have small class sizes with a teacher and a TA in each class. In the role of Primary PRU Teacher you will be required to build positive relationships with students, and help children overcome barriers to learning.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the Primary PRU Teacher position are:

Have Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS
Strong behaviour management abilities
Be committed and dedicated to the learning and development of children and young people
Have a caring and nurturing character
