Service and Maintenance Engineer

The Twenty One Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a leading Communications, Fire and Security business in order to support their growth and find an experienced Maintenance and Service Engineer.

The company have contracts in place with a range of household name clients within sectors including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality and Retail.

Our client is certified, audited and accredited across a wide range of trade associations and partners, allowing us to provide installations that meet the highest standards. Associations include SSAIB, BAFE and Safe Contractors Scheme.

Due to continued expansion, we are keen to speak to experienced Fire & Security Systems Engineers to work within the Service and Maintenance Department.

You will carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with the current standards along with fault diagnosis and be able to rectify and solve problems first time fix.

You should have good working knowledge of conventional and addressable Fire Alarm Systems along with a good knowledge of Intruder Alarm Panels. Network/IP based product experience would be an advantage along with integration of detection systems.

The role will cover service calls and maintenance inspections as well as small works installations within the central belt of Scotland. Good fault-finding skills are essential and the ability to produce accurate reporting information from site visits feeding back to the service desk operation. The Candidate would join the On Call Rota which is one week in six.

The following experience would be beneficial to any candidate:-

* Industry training specifically in Fire and Intruder Alarms

* Knowledge and experience of Fire Alarm Systems to BS 5839-1:2017

* Install, commission and repair of systems

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Excellent Communication skills

* Valid UK Driving Licence necessary

* CSCS/ECS Card would be desirable

* A Basic Disclosure Scotland and a 5 year security check will be required for any successful candidate as standard.
