We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a senior 2 nd line Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company (MSP) in Northampton working on a dedicated client account. You will provide 2 nd line technical support for the client who is based in the south west of England. This client is in the Aviation industry so we welcome anyone with Aviation / Airline experience but this is not essential. The ideal candidate must be able to commit to at least one day a week in my clients office in Northampton. We welcome candidates who have worked for either an in house support team or candidates that come from an MSP background,

Skills Required

Minimum 3 years'' experience in a role of supporting servers, networks, printers, PC''s and applications. Ideally this would have been gained within a 2 nd line support role
Proven experience of enterprise / mainstream technologies and applications primarily focused on Microsoft front/backend products as well as anti-virus and backup platforms and operations
Experience with other enterprise / mainstream technologies and applications such as Citrix, VMware and Cisco are desirable
Relevant experience of managing, maintaining and supporting peripheral equipment including routers, switches, hubs, UPS''s, printers etc
Industry recognised accreditations such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCA, CCNA are highly desirable.
