Compliance/Quality Systems Manager - FMCG
Are you a Compliance /Quality Systems Manager within the Food Manufacturing/Packaging/FMCG and are able to drive standards to meet BRC and audit requirements .Are you looking for your next challenge? My client, part of a fast paced and rapidly growing group, is looking for you.
Location: Northwest plus Flexible 2 days Remote a week
Salary: £35- £40K + Bonus, Life Insurance, H/C, Pension etc
The Candidate:
Have you several years'' experience as a Compliance/Quality Systems Manager within a Food & Drink/ Packaging Manufacturing?
Can you demonstrate how you have improved Quality processes and systems?
Do you have experience of conducting & hosting audits?
Can you display excellent problem solving, organisational and prioritisation skills?
The Role:
Reporting to the Technical Manager , you will be responsibility for all compliance requirements such as company certifications such as BRC and customer standards . Managing new/emerging concerns, site updates, reporting and cross-site collaboration/support.
You will develop, maintain and improve the key systems that form the Integrated Management System (IMS) that ensures compliance to the company''s formal certifications, internal requirements and customer standards. You will demonstrate excellent project management skills to ensure product quality, safety and legality
You will work to ensure that all key activities within the IMS such as data analysis, report generation, quality and H&S investigations, audit action follow-up are completed to a high standard and to agreed timescales.
You will liaise with customers to deliver on all compliance-related requests, such as questionnaires, requests for documentation, completion of portals/systems etc
A key part of this role is the project development to ensure that new raw materials or processes fulfil all food safety & legality requirements.
To host external compliance audits and coordinate preparation work, including ensuring all non-conformances (NC''s), observations and opportunities for improvement (OFI''s) are fully closed out and documented.
To manage, lead and direct the internal audit schedule and auditing team for BRC , Sedex etc .
