Property Officer

Peace Recruitment are currently working with a medium sized housing association to source them a Maintenance officer for an initial 3-6 months but potentially longer for the right candidate. You will primarily be based in the Glasgow office but will be required to travel with this role.

You will be joining an experienced team and will primarily be dealing with planned maintenance and projects. My client is looking for a professional with extensive experience as a maintenance or technical officer ideally from an RSL environment but would consider candidates with local authority background. You will need excellent communication skills as you will not only be dealing with tenants but also colleagues and contractors to ensure work is done in a timely and professional manner. Knowledge of SHQS and EESH would be beneficial. Competent IT skills are essential for this role. You will require your own vehicle for this role and business insurance. For any business mileage done you will receive 45p per mile.

My client is also open to seeing graduate candidates who are looking to further their career. They would ideally look for candidates with a degree in building surveying or project management and a minimum of a years'' experience
