Job Description
Our client offers cost-effective courier services which are designed to simplify and streamline your process for on-demand scheduled and sameday deliveries. They are able to provide an enhanced delivery service through the use of their technology and proactive customer care team.
Due to continued growth they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover the Yorshire and East Riding territores.
You will be the Senior business lead for the continuous development of Commercial Sales to ensure the continued growth of our clients profile through acquisition of new customers. To drive the companies turnover through agreed sales strategy.
Self-driven, reliable and hardworking individual with a clear focus on new business sales. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner. Must be well presented and professional. business-like. Able to work extended hours, as required.
Ideally you will have experience of Big ticket new business wins within SAMEDAY COURIER / LOGISTICS and/or SUPPLY CHAIN market, but applicants from a transport logistics background, such as Next Day, Pallet network, or other logistics network sectors may also be considered.
This is a permanent and full time contract with your working week running from Monday to Friday each week.
