A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an iconic British brand with big plans and high ambition!

We are seeking Experienced and Trainee Upholsterers to join our G Plan Operations function in Melksham. At an exciting time for the brand, we''re looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of our dynamic upholstery team.

You''ll work in our purpose-built manufacturing facility, the heart of the organization where we proudly handcraft every single G Plan sofa. We pride ourselves on crafting high-quality, comfortable, British sofas that stand the test of time for our customers.

Within these fast-paced roles, you''ll take pride in being responsible for the upholstery of our high-quality furniture to the correct methods and standards as set out by the company.

We always welcome applications from experienced upholsterers. However, if you have previous manufacturing experience, or have previously used air-powered staple guns and other hand tools as well as having an interest in learning a new skill, our dedicated trainers would be delighted to help you develop your talents. You will be dexterous, flexible, have a keen eye for detail, and be a fast learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Experienced production line upholsterers are paid by our piecework system which guarantees a minimum pay rate of £12.00 per hour, however, attracts an earning potential in excess of £20.00 per hour. We also have a ''signing on bonus of up to £1,200 for experienced upholsterers (scheme conditions apply).

Our Trainee Upholsterers will earn a guaranteed training rate of £11.00 per hour until they transition onto our piecework system.

All roles are permanent, and our hours of work are: 6.00 am - 2.00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 6.00 am - 1.00 pm Friday.

We are also recruiting for General Assistants and a Warehouse Bagger/Loader, both roles attract an hourly pay rate of £10.49 per hour.
